As a solo Etsy seller, my time is very limited and I don't have a lot of time to edit photos. That is the main reason I chose PlaceIt of the many popular mockup generators out there. However, it's very difficult finding Etsy suitable mockups so I still end up having to crop a model out and place them in a different background to suit my needs. Many Etsy mockups that sells well uses photos with models that contains a lot of open space. For example, they have a bent arm up in the air or to the side, head turned to the side, creating negative and positive spaces/gaps, really trying to showcase the tshirt design. We are looking for a more homely, indoor, personal feel for our customers in order to attract customers who are looking at a ton of listing at a quick glance so very specific photos are important. Many of these mockups are too commercial based. I'd love to see more mockups that are done indoor and also more modern/trendy apparels. Many of the apparels seem outdated and retracts the designs.
